Two hands reaching towards each other

Extra support

If your health, something happening in your life or anything else makes dealing with money harder at the moment, tell us what would help and your adviser will work that way.

Who can ask for it

You can ask before a first meeting, years into being a client, or whenever something changes. It is there for anyone whose health, a bereavement, a separation, losing a job, money worries, or difficulty reading, hearing or using a computer makes advice harder to deal with.

You can tell us what would help without saying why, and change it whenever you want.

Telling us for someone else

If you help someone with their money, you can fill this in for them. Before an adviser discusses their affairs with you, we will need their agreement, or a power of attorney that covers their finances.

What happens to what you tell us

It goes to the team at Equity & General who arrange meetings, and it is kept on your record so every adviser you speak to works the same way. We use it to change how we work with you.

Health details are a special category of information under data protection law, so we keep them with your agreement, and you can ask us to remove them at any time. Equity & General's privacy notice covers the rest.
