What will a bridging loan cost?

The interest and fees on a bridging loan with interest rolled up, and what each extra month before the exit adds.

How it works it out

Interest is charged each month at the monthly rate on the amount borrowed and paid at the end with the loan, which is how a loan with interest rolled up works. Some lenders charge interest on interest; ask each one which it does.

Every rate starts at 0% until you enter the ones the lender quoted.

What it cannot tell you

Whether the sale or refinance will happen on time. The cost of a late exit depends on the default terms in the loan agreement.

Finance is subject to status and to the lender’s terms. A personal guarantee makes you liable for the company’s debt if it does not repay, and it can be enforced against your own assets, including your home. Nothing here is a personal recommendation.
